This is semi-serious blog that ends on a funny note....First off, we always get the conversation going at campfires by asking everyone to answer various questions. Well the latest one was, "What is your greatest fear?" Most of us answered the typical, sick family member, darkness, spiders, etc. (Poor Nick, says he's afraid of dying from an asthma attack!)
Well Ashley's fear is that she CANNOT fall asleep if her bedroom door is open. OK, I can deal with that, we always keep the door shut. Well her BFF, Josie is completely afraid to sleep with the door closed. I immediately started laughing and of course they were offended and asked why I was laughing. Well.....What do you do at sleep overs???? Constantly get up and open and close the door????? LOL Then they laughed. (and admitted that they try to sleep in the family room to help with those fears.) =0) We all love our campfire times!!!! (I miss summer already) Do you know what the greatest fears are of your family and friends?
