What a wonderful group of kids!! They traveled to the DR and worked at the Young Life camp, Pico Escondido, and were gone for 11 days. They accomplished great things while they were there and really stepped up to get things done. I think they all got a look into hard physical work, since the countries has no gas powered-electrical equipment and everything is done by your physical being and grunt work. They returned home with lots of cuts, bruises, insect bites, and sore muscles, but no one lost a limb and were all in one piece. Ashley said it was fantastic experience, loved it all, and would like to go back for a family mission trip. Well done team!
