Darrin and Emma had a fabulous birthday yesterday. Emma was excited to have a snow day on her 9th birthday. They played on the "big" snow mountains in the school parking lot with all the neighbor kids. That brought back such great memories of when I was a kid and we had snow days! They did have some snowball fights, but no snowmen were made.
Over the weekend we went to Red Robin with Aunt Amy, Aunt Jenni, Nick and Jared. The funny part was....when they all came over to sing, Ashley was sooooo embarassed. She slouched down and tried to hide under the table. hahaha. So last night we went to Applebee's for dinner and when they asked if the should sing, Emma and Darrin didn't really answer yes or no and Ash was mortified and telling Emma "say no, say no"! So OF COURSE I said yes, we would love you to sing. hehehe Darrin and Emma enjoyed their dessert shot and even shared with me and Ash. YUM! ......So when Ashley's birthday comes around we are going to the biggest restaurant with the most people and the loud's singers! (She turned red even mentioning it.) Silly goose.
